Nature Diary...Ship, Sheep, Birds, Buds, Sea

A grey, peaceful, early morning but not especially cold for mid-winter, and not a breath of wind. A little bit of activity on the sea as the Condor Ferry sailed past, and overhead a busy flock of Gulls headed en masse for some unknown but agreed destination.

On land the sheep were still in the same location as for the past several weeks but are likely to be moved soon, and close inspection of a familiar Magnolia tree revealed some big, healthy buds which hopefully will produce as magnificent a display as there was last year.
