Nature Diary... Happy together

Another grey day when the sea and the sky seemed to have no ending and no beginning. The overnight rain had left the evidence of its presence but had retreated, hopefully for the rest of the day. The ornamental Robins had weathered many a downpour, had survived ‘the beast from the east’ had outlived the hottest days of many a heatwave, and now look as cosy as they have always looked. A cheerful sight on a damp, grey, winters day.
