Fuzzy Odo

It was Tony's Birthday yesterday but by the time we had finished at the orienteering event we had just enough energy for a hot bath and a curl up on the settee, so today we celebrated it with lunch at Cobbles and Clay, Tony with a posh Fish Finger Sandwich and me with a Halloumi Stack.

Before that though we had another early morning message from the Oxford Family to say that Euan had woken with a fever and tested very positive for Covid.  He was quite happy though because he could watch baby penguins on tv.  He later called to tell us he had had a tickly nose test and there were two lines!  So now we wait to see how it develops and if the grown ups succumb.  Ah for a time when these things are in the past and we can go in a cafe without our masks.

Back home and stuck for a blip I thought I would try for a bird in the elder tree when I heard a distant miaow and there was Odo on top of the glory box, where he likes to keep watch for Harry Cat, and wondering how he could jump a storey and get in our bedroom window.  He was giving me his usual hard stare but he's not anywhere near being a tough guy.  Needless to say I went down and let him in.
