The school run

Today our builders arrived to start our renovation. We have known Phil for over 32 years as he built our dental practice and then did a huge extension in our previous home.  Since then, he has done all our building work and landed us with two cats (Tinkerbell and Missy) in addition!  Today he was joined by Jack who has become a bit of a right hand man since he started work with Phil several years ago.
While the renovation was underway we continued with our usual Tuesday routine of picking up Violet from school for her weekly sleepover with us.  What a horrible day it has been, grey skies and rain or drizzle at best all day.  The forest is looking pretty grim at the moment too but the display of umbrellas and bright winter coats made it a more colourful scene.
