A wet school run

Before Christmas we had some magical school runs when the forest seemed like a Winter wonderland.  Now, it seems to rain at some point every day, if not all day.  It certainly seems to manage to pour at drop off and pick up times!
Today at least it didn't become really heavy until Mr MC and Violet were almost at the car.  I have given this picture a poster effect to try and make it a bit clearer: you can just about make out the intrepid pair in between the raindrops, both with umbrellas.
