Partly done

I've put a bit of effort in where the ferns and cool loving plants live. Weeding, cutting back the vigorous native Fuschia procumbens, and mulching with lawn clippings and wood chip.

I still have a chunk of Fuschia to clear at the other end of the path and tidying to do. Several months ago I mulched the whole of the front garden. It's made a big difference. I'll slowly do other sections of the garden.

Into the third week of my holiday, I have the energy and clarity to tackle paper work.

Today's gratitude: For a visit from my cousin Janet and husband Malcolm. I sent them on a different route to Tekapo and I hope they didn't get lost.
