Chaos continues

They are working in the 200 yd stretch in front of our house again.  Removing 3 speed bumps at the same time, so very large machinery has been going backwards and forwards in front of the house all day. And boy is it noisy!
I'm sure the monstrous vehicles are exceeding the decibel range!

It was a beautiful mild  day and it would have been nice to go for a walk along the coast road but it was easier to leave the car in the drive , again, so we walked up to the park.

It was lovely and peaceful and we took our time, before returning back to the noise.
One sounds like a  very large crow with a sore throat!

M wanted to potter about in the garden but the noise outside from all the machinery was deafening. He ended up wearing my headphones  to cut out some of the noise.

It was bright enough to do some more sewing on the tunic .. Note to self ..in winter knit something in a light bright colour.

It was still daylight at 4:15 so I took Fletch for his walk.
The entrance to the Dock walk has been full of pot holes for years.. but now a large area has been filled in with fresh tarmac. The garage owner must have sweet talked the workers to off load their day's ' left over tar'!

When we got back from our walk I went to rinse Fletch's paws , as usual , but they smelt of tar/ petrol? So poor chap was dunked in the bath.. I didnt want him licking off something that could upset his stomach.

Blip is one of the huge ( but not as huge as some) vehicles parked at the corner of the street, almost as tall as a house. I was interested to see that the main body had an advert to promote finding a cure for Motor Neurone disease.
