Peace by the priory

There was access, if we squeezed down the back street at the bottom of our road, so we went down the coast road to Conishead Priory.

A peaceful walk through the woods but it was quite sad to see that quite a number of trees had blown down in the last storm ( Barra) . By the look of it on tree had split at the base and twisted round out of the ground. The wind must have been extremely strong.

Today, on the beach there wasnt a breath of wind and the sea was like glass.

A slow wander before strolling back . I wanted to take a photo from the same place as I'd been doing for the last 11 months, for my photo project but it was impossible as there was a huge pile of logs cut from fallen trees and one of the key trees in my photos had been blown down. ( see extras)

We wnt back home via Ulverston to collect a down jkt M had ordered and stocked up with some food before coming home.. The  workman had finished for the day.. Peace!
