I put some eggs on to boil this morning, for sandwiches for tomorrow and Saturday, and then realised that I had to get into town for my Specsavers appointment.

Afterwards I went to Millets and bought a pair of walking/approach shoes, a model I've had before so they should be comfortable, and then I filled the car before going home.

When I opened the back door I could smell chicken... but I hadn't cooked any chicken, what was going on? And then I realised what I'd done! Oh dear.

This afternoon I did a couple of miles in the new shoes... very comfy. A lot of time was also spent on stuff (secretarial duties)for the mountaineering club. Another oh dear.
