Amaryllis in full bloom and bud

I've chosen to do a rather high key image on my flowering Amaryllis this morning. I need to get my photo up before a very busy day ahead of me.
I've always liked high key images as they can often give a soft water-colour impression. The first bud I showed here has now opened and a second one is opening. Two more buds after that and a new stem has just started to grow.
