Grey Heron

As I was approaching the loch today. I saw the young one flying over head. She turned and landed just in front of me. There were a few dog walkers but most had their dogs on leashes and were quite far away. One guy walked past us with his dog on a leash and the young one took off. She landed just about 100 yds away, still on the grass and looking  for me to follow her. I caught up and gave her the last of her fish. She took of right away back to the water.
