The whole gang kept Chester mesmerized by the dining room window all morning as they feasted on holly berries. 

Extra:  black sooty mold, Scorias spongiosa  grows on aphid honeydew, and only on American beech trees.  It doesn't hurt them.  I saw several clumps on branches and on the ground along SC5 today.  More info from Fungus Fact Friday
