Double outing

That fog is a fickle thing.  You wouldn't think after mist all night there could be almost nothing in the valley this morning.  It was beautiful though and quite a few people were out enjoying the sunshine.  I was out for about an hour and a half before continuing into Ilkley for some new brake blocks.  Coming back over the moors, it looked like the cauldron was starting to brew.  Time for another walk, this time with Little Dog.  Rich dropped me high up as he headed out and we pottered up and across to here where, finally, it started to look promising.

You can see the guy in a t-shirt - it was plenty warm enough up here. So Little Dog sat (she's my third leg in the brocken spectre) while I stood in the sunshine not wanting to budge an inch.

Eventually, some cloud started to cover the sun and that's always a good time to end a stunning start to the day which ended up taking the whole of the morning.  Now, that's nothing to complain about.

(Couldn't decide on my main image - switched them round for now. Extra stitched image feels a bit too bendy!)
