Dead Sunflowers

After I realised that I was missing a lens cap, I had a bit of an extended walk today - trying to retrace my steps over the last couple of days, in the hope of finding said cap. Sadly the journey was fruitless and I have had to order a replacement (a generic one rather the branded Canon one that has gone awol) :-(

On my journey I passed these rather sad looking sunflowers in the corner of a field…thought they would be a useful subject for Derelict Sunday….
