St Abbs Head walk

A quick WhatsApp chat with blipper Arclight yesterday led to the four of us meeting half way at St Abbs for a walk. It seemed an appropriate place as we’d all been there around the time of the civil partnership over 2 years ago.

Although it was dull and grey when we left home at 8.30 by the time we crossed the border the sky was blue. Consequently we had a very sunny and enjoyable walk and catch up, followed by fish and chips on a bench overlooking the sea at Eyemouth.

On our way home we dropped in to Lower Burnmouth. Linda and Colin’s property portfolio includes one of the Basil Spence houses by the harbour. It is a very dark bleak little place, mainly holiday houses, facing NE so even in summer won’t get much light.
