Davaar Goats

Here are some of the island goats watching us carefully as we pass. There are four nannies, one Billy and two kids on the island at the moment. We did not see the Billy he must be very good at hiding.

Went for a lovely walk around the coast of Davaar before we left the island. It was warm and sunny and we had a little sunbathe in one of the South facing coves for a while.

Apart from the goats we saw seals, a lovely lizard, peregrine falcon, wheatear. buzzard, raven, stonechat and wren to name a few as well as seabirds including Cormorant, Shag, Guillimots, tysties etc. We also heard the Barn Owl but didn't see any otter although there were plenty of signs of them.

When we left home 5 days ago it was winter, we arrived home to Spring. What a lovely few days on Davaar, very slow and peaceful. Here is the link if you fancy this type of break
