1 inch an hour

That's 2.5 cm to the rest of you folks. That was the forecast for how much snow we'd get, up to 10 inches (25 cm). I just missed it starting, so I had to rush out and brush off Jill's car to put the windshield cover on. But I got it. It was coming down fast and thick.

I shoveled and brushed the walk and steps to try to keep up with it. I think I did an OK job. This was much more snow than the first snowfall of the year 10 days ago.

I hope my boots arrive soon. I want to wander around a little and get photos.
