Urban art

A dank, gloomy day largely spent answering emails. By late afternoon I needed to escape from the computer, but it didn't seem worth driving anywhere so I walked down through the grounds of Thorpe Hall, along the Rowing Lake and back up into Longthorpe. Part of my journey involved the underpass beneath the Nene Parkway. This one has been brightened up by graffiti - some of it presumably quite recent as I could smell aerosol paint solvent in the air. Although most were typical graffiti tags, I rather liked the choice of colours and the design of this art work - certainly more interesting than boring grey concrete!
