Grey Heron

I decided that the best solution is to go up to the loch a bit earlier (it is getting lighter all the time so it will eventually catch up). I was just entering the park when the young one flew overhead. I watched her turn then circle me in the air looking for somewhere to land. There were a couple of dog walkers and she decided to land a bit ahead of me and waited until I caught up. I gave her her fish then she watched me walk up the hill then took off up the lake. 
On the way back I passed a woman with 5 small dogs on leashes heading to the park. I reckon if she was there 2 days ago that is probably what scared her!
