Camellia with hat flower friday

Love this candy striped camellia in its glory with the leaf titfer to protect it from the rain of which there was no evidence today! It was a very fresh sunny day with pockets of frost still on the ground all day where the sun did not reach. Extra 1. Had a fabulous view of the folly with drakes island behind and the home beyond that. Extra2. Blue sky beyond the trees and the frosted and frost free sword! Extra 3. Love the trees in the park which have been allowed to grow to their full potential by the seashore. Didn’t notice the light on the foreground grasses till I had taken the picture and in the background beyond plymouth you can see Dartmoor! My neighbourhood!
