Camera shy

The baby blue tongue lizard first appeared on  3 January and I still haven’t managed to get a photo. He is very nervous and at the slightest hint of movement he reverses into his bolt hole under the flower pot, sometimes leaving just the tip of his pointed nose poking out.


In the absence of a photo, this is a wooden pencil holder from Yorkshire. The little creature peaking out of its hidey hole is perhaps a mouse. But it makes quite a good stand in for Junior blue tongue.
