Took a lot of photos today - this was one of the first.

It was a three-coffee day today.  I used to have two per day but since working from home I'm averaging about 2.5ish.  I bought a "proper machine" a few years ago (although purists would probably scoff at it as it's not Italian) but it does the trick - my first double boiler!

There's an Italian woman at one of the coffee shops where I used to work who occasionally makes my caffè latte the way I like it (a bit like a Guinness) but it seems she considers it a mistake.  When I ask her to make it that way she says , in disgust, "You want shave, you go to barber, ay!"
