Bishop’s Palace Wells

I decided to try my knee out this morning so Tess & I went for a gentle run before breakfast: no pain while running and it’s been fine since so that’s encouraging.

After breakfast it was the weekly shop then this afternoon we went over to Wells to sort out a present for my golfing friend Henri, who turns 70 on Wednesday. While we were there we picked up a couple of books in Waterstones (John Cooper Clarks’ autobiography for me) and had a walk in the grounds of the Bishop’s Palace where I took this view of the Cathedral with the well pond in the foreground.
