Triangle crab spider

This little spider has taken up residence in the orchid I blipped last week for flower Friday: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2931094697067679169

The more observant among you would have noticed, on the bloom on the left, two delicate green legs peeping out.

From the description I believe this is a female. Although it's only about 6mm long including head and body, I saw it recently munching on a fly about the same size.

Nature has given us quite a colour combo, with the soft pink, mauve and magenta of the orchid and the pale translucent green of the spider. I like the cross shape on its back too.

Thanks for hosting Pinkhairedlady. Stay safe.
