Sunbathing

This grasshopper was making the most of the few moments of sunshine allowed to us today. It is a New Zealand lowland grasshopper, just over 10mm long. These grasshoppers take on the colour of their surroundings. They can range from very dark to a pale dry grass colour. Check out my favourite grasshopper blip.
