Auguste Pellerin returns!

What a culture-fest we had today. Good food, no tourists, mild weather, a quiet leisurely walk through the Royal Botanic Garden after lunch at the MCA onto the Art Gallery of NSW to view a selection of Matisse's work on loan from Centre Pompidou followed by coffee in the old GPO before finishing off the day with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra's Italian Baroque with Circa acrobats from Brisbane.  When it rains it pours!

My blip is not the best shot from the day (really weird strobe light interference) but it's a favourite.  If I didn't know better I'd say the gallery's guard (on the right) is either a reincarnation of Auguste Pellerin (a Matisse portrait from just over 100 years ago) or he's been looking at it too long.
