Gin and cocoa

Read online that there is a gin distillery a few miles north of where we are staying and it has a cafe. We had a walk on the estate before breakfast and then drove to the next village along the road and had a lovely walk on the beach, well Hetty ran and ran. Then off to Kintyre distillery cafe for lunch, very quiet and simple but tasty lunch. Couldn’t resist buying a bottle of gin.
Walking back to the cottage we noticed a couple sat on the rocks further along and as I was taking my boots off the walked past with bikes.
We sat outside for a mug of cocoa, lovely with a drop of whiskey and double cream and then walked along the beach.
Hetty is worn out and sleeping. Think I will sleep well tonight, although I did last night.
