Men at Work

The greenkeepers start working as soon as it’s light in their endless battle to keep the course in good shape. There’s fungus on some of the the greens again so the winter routine of hollow tining and dressing now has additional fungicide spraying. That had already been done this morning and I’m not sure what was being spread afterwards. Sharp sand maybe. Whatever, it made putting a bit of a lottery. Or that’s my excuse.
Swung past big sis’s on the way home for my now regular coffee and shortbread; she’s spoiling me. Not much new which these days is actually good!
