Neg

I’m now in the handover period for my job, which is a strange sensation as I’ve worked with this organisation since 2008. I’ve also started feeling the throat scratchiness and lethargy of what I suspected to be Omicron. It’s definitely been whipping through Mozambique.

This isn’t great timing as a colleague arrived today from the UK to help on one area of the handover. I hadn’t managed to get a rapid test yesterday as the service provider never showed up. My colleague Leigh lobbed me a box of rapid tests from the UK and I scuttled away to do one.

Negative, which meant I could join her up the road where she’s staying, and where there is view down the slope to a lower part of the city. Nice spot for a ginger ale before dinner.
