Abstract Thursday ...

... mundane prop.

Our challenge for Abstract Thursday was to find something mundane around the house and photograph it in an abstract way.  I had this mundane glass vase that I've used in the past so I put it out again this afternoon.  

It was freezing cold so I didn't want to stay outside on the deck for very long.  Unfortunately, those plans went out the window with the unexpected arrival of this juvenile Cooper's hawk.  After getting several pictures we chased him/her off and the squirrels slowly started coming back.
