Spell Songs

A lovely evening at Perth Theatre listening to Spell Songs performed by a strong ensemble including Karine Polwarth, Kris Deaver and Julie Fowlis (who shone for me) and live illustrations on stage. 

The songs were based on Robert McFarlane's Lost Words with the added bonus of a song in Gaelic by Julie Fowlis. 

A grand start to the weekend. 

The words above were painted on the wall in the foyer and struck me as am appropriate comment on concert going in a pandemic.
