Lake Weyba

Still didn’t feel good when I woke up this morning after a restless night. Took some more nurofen to try and feel normal.

Finally felt good around noon and got out of bed.

We had been invited to a gathering at Lake Weyba, and thankfully I felt well enough to go.

We just love the ruggedness of the trees here and this whole setting was just so beautiful. We’ve seen so many paintings, children’s books with this scenery, so it was lovely to actually be in it.

We didn’t stay long as the Women’s final is on tonight and we really wanted to watch that.

Ash Barty had to work just a little harder to win this match, than her previous matches, and oh what a deserving win! First Australian in 44 years to have won the Australian Open! So pleased for her.
