Doug has toiled away splitting these big rounds that have sat drying for many months.  He taps the wedge into the wood then with his very old maul hopefully splits the log with one go, but doesn't always happen.  Hard slog for him, and I had to go out and tell him enough is enough this afternoon.

I've converted this to mono - the image was so green and very unappealing to my eyes.  Much better as a mono.
