Nearer to home.

This building used to be the Methodist Church, used for years and going to decay.  It had scaffolding wrapped with plastic covering so I was unsure what was going on.  It emerged the nave, etc were demolished and flats were constructed.  Maybe not everyone's 'cup of tea,' but at least the entrance was saved and became part of the block of flats.  Whether your a church goer or not, whether the church was full or not, this fine Victorian entrance  could not be lost for the sake of progress and need.  Someone had the foresight to include it. It was difficult to get a photo showing old/new so this was the better of my efforts.  I have erased traffic signs.  There is only one tower with a cupola on top.  The other side isn't as high, but equally well built.
