Looking For GR.

An interesting day. Very stormy overnight and in the morning.

Today’s entry shows the screen of my Apple MacPro 1.1. It is sixteen years old and the app is Aperture which contains digital images from the year 2000.

Pat has just put the finishing to a Goache portrait of Mrs GR. The plan is to create a portrait of GR who died nearly twenty years ago. 

The problem is finding an image of GR. There are about 50,000 image files in this app, and the primitive facial recognition is of no use. 

However, I did manage to find one image of a group photo containing GR. The image is very small, however, there is enough detail to start the portrait.

The storm calmed down in the afternoon and we headed to the Buffalo Farm to pick up our order of goodies.
