Mute Swan #22

Went out before 9am as the light looked quite good, but it disappeared quite quickly unfortunately. I had an hour or so wandering about looking for the kingfisher and stonechats but neither were happy to show themselves. I had a chat to a few photographers who had also not seen anything much.
I ambled back to the car past the lock and the 40 or so swans and took a quick snap with my phone as they were way to close for my big lens.
Just been watching the conclusion of the Australian Open with Rafa Nadel coming out the winner and getting a record breaking 21st Grand Slam to his name. Amazing stuff.
