Swimmers At Sunrise

The temperature was hovering around 0°as they emerged from the water. Brrrrr!!!

I've had a wonderful day, beginning with a sunrise trip to the beach. I am so glad I made the effort! I've loads of photos but hardly looked at any yet. I know I like this one, so I'm making a quick decision. I hope you like it, too!

(The bit in the sky that looks like it could be banding is, in fact, not banding at all but the cloud formation!)

After the beach trip, I picked up Mum and brought her home for a Sunday roast. It's the first time she has been able to set foot outside the care home since the beginning of January, so it was especially enjoyable. In the afternoon, we went for a drive around the Purbecks, drinking in the views and stopping briefly in Swanage before returning home via the spot where deer are often seen. They were to be seen today :)

This evening has been church - kinda cafe style, so a bit different, but a very good evening.

And now I'm thinking I need to go to bed, even though I have lots of photos that need to be looked at. Maybe I'll look at just a few more.....

Thanks very much for all the great comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's 'Sanderlings' in flight!

Ann :))
