Birthday celebration

We didn’t rush this morning, as it’s a public holiday here in Auckland, for Auckland Anniversary Weekend. Hubby went out to collect open home signs, I worked at home. During the morning I arranged to meet up with daughter and son-in-law for a belated birthday celebration for us both. We caught the bus into the city, which was extremely quiet and spent a very pleasant 3 hours with daughter and son-in-law, chatting, drinking and eating. A lovely celebration.
