Silly Saturday ...

... day at home ... watching the snow fall.

We had a major Nor'easter blowing our way last night into today ... but thankfully we dodged the worst of it.  We only got a few additional inches of snow ... but it was windy and cold.

But because of the little bit of snow we did get a walk wasn't in the cards.  So a day spent at home was the thing to do.  The birds didn't mind as we tried to keep the feeders well stocked.  And they were very busy for most of the day.  I'm feel like I'm getting redundant ... but another bird collage was the order of the day.   Sadly, we didn't see a single squirrel so I couldn't even do a squirrel pick instead of the birds.

I'm sure you are already aware of their identities but my collage features a female Northern cardinal (upper left), a brilliant male Northern cardinal (right side) and a cute little male dark-eyed junco (bottom left).  The male northern cardinal is eating some seed pods that he took from the birch tree he's sitting in!
