High Notes

A long downland walk with the spaniel this morning. Our route took us over Saxon Down, a good spot for looking down on the world famous Glyndebourne Opera House. The 'new' theatre was opened in 1994 which is also the one and only time I've ever been inside (when 'cheap' tickets were sold to locals). The woods behind are, for some reason, called Old Hag. On the horizon is the Ashdown Forest.
