Montrose Church Spire

7°C  -  26 mph WNW Wind Speed  -  41 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy  -  Sunny Spells.  Well, you’ll all know where I was at 12.35 pm today.  I wonder why church spires are built like rockets!  I went on to Lids for essentials and also bought a Sanitas Digital Thermometer.  Not a word of English on the carton but luckily the leaflet inside did reveal some English hidden away except for diligent searchers like myself:)  I did wonder at the ridiculously low price of £2.99 for such an intelligent device  -  and then realised this is just another means by which extra-terrestrials are gathering vital information for their imminent transcendence.
