Mid Wales and Beyond

Cadair Bronwen

I am standing in a bronze age hut circle (1500BC) looking towards the Cadair Bronwen at 2500 feet, one of the highest peaks of the Berwyns. I have walked about 2 miles to get here, from the village of Llandrillo, and here I will stop. Needless to say it was all uphill and on the open moors my only company is the wind, the sound of rushing water of the Clochnant and the odd meadow pipit. There are merlins up here too but I'll need a bit of magic to see one today.
