Llyn Lluncaws

The glacial lake Lluncaws, at 2000 feet, sits just below Moel Sych, the highest point of the Berwyns. The 2 mile uphill hike is relentless, boggy in places and a vast open space that takes your breath away. The peaks were shrouded in hill fog but for a few extraordinary seconds the sun shone on the opposite shore of the lake.
