One daze at a time...

Bring it on

It was quite blowy at lunch time. The cycle down to the Forty Foot seemed unusually easy. I understood why on the way back...
When I got to Sandycove, there was no swell but short, snappy little waves in quick succession.
The ones that won't knock you out but give you a few cheeky slaps in the face.
It didn't deter Gran anyway, in she went, with the gulls that had been grounded by ATC.
Round the corner the Forty Foot was unusually deserted. Had the place to meself. I had a fine refreshing swim. Not much diving to be done, the tide was way up.
Lovely entertainment for the price of a few slaps.

I was wide awake as I logged back in for the afternoon...
