The New "Hat"

My granddaughter's new "hat" arrived from Amazon, and it is perfect! It is more of a headband than a hat, but it keeps her ears warm without messing with the JoJo bow and side ponytail. Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions. I went with movableparts recommendation but may also pick up a high ponytail beanie.
I feel like I rounded a corner with this photo as regards lighting. The sunset outside threw my granddaughter into an almost silhouette. I used the strobe to light her from the front. It was difficult to get a focus with the intense backlighting. What a fun learning experience. Many thanks to my sweet little model.
