Barely Covered

I pondered my title for this post for some time, partly because I had already used most of my first thoughts, but also as I began to work through possibilities, I wondered what I was actually thinking about. Instinctively I went for opening, then emergence, followed by revealed.

I feel it's important to decide what an image is about, otherwise it falls into the category of snapshot, a throw away remark. Even if the frame was captured in haste, an impulse or reaction, afterwards there are still decisions and meaning which can be imparted.

I liked the utter simplicity of this one.
