Finished

The vegetable plot is ready . . . at last! Well, it's been dug over and most of the biggest roots removed. Such a relief to have reached this stage after starting 6 months ago (though not working continuously, thankfully!) - it has been tough going but now it feels like sweet success! But will it produce anything? Time will tell.

It was another great day, sunny all day long, which meant staying out as long as possible. As the sun lowered, there was a wonderful clear sunset, perfectly silhouetting Arran, with barely a ripple on the sea - so calm. We've had some lovely sunsets of late, but this was one of the best. I did take a shot of it and almost decided to use it here, but the achievement of completing the dig just had to be recorded!
