A beautiful start to the day.

Very much enjoyed our visit to Birstall open market.
A very good fishmonger. Bought a huge thick piece of cod for the fish curry.
Then spotted a cheese stall. Absolutely huge selection. Many cheeses I hadn’t heard of before.
I chose a triple Crème cow milk cheese.
Produced by La Fromagerie Delin, in the small village of Chevillon in the Chsmpagne region of France.
Looking forward to going back next week when we have more time.

Lunch today went well and we have spent a very enjoyable few hours with our friend A.
So much catching up and we really put the world to rights!

After such a happy day we have just had a sad email from Jenny’s nephew.

“ It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Jenny passed away peacefully yesterday in Bodmin Hospital.
As you may know Jenny has been ill for quite sometime but now is at peace. It is a comfort to know the end came quite quickly after a rapid deterioration since Christmas.”

Such a genuinely lovely lady. An inspiration to all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed by family and friends, and all her Blip followers.
Very pleased that we are able to see her in September when we were down in Cornwall on holiday. ( see extra photo) 18th Sept. 2021
