The beholder's eye

Chilly Nuthatch

It was chilly again today, but following the weekend's better weather there are definite signs of spring, including buds bursting and new leaves on the Hawthorn and Hazel - yipeeeeee!
While out on my travels I decided to pick up my clock from the pottery painting studio, and while there I managed to get a few (dozen) shots of the numerous birds that come to the feeders they put out.
This is one of my most favourite birds, a Nuthatch! He is such a smart little bird dressed in peachy fawn and steely blue with a neat black line running through his eye and dividing the two.
Seen here sitting patiently waiting to get onto the feeders.
