Weather

We've had a fair bit of weather today.  Angela and I set off to walk to Saltaire in unexpected sunshine but soon encountered brief wintry showers.  When we arrived at Salt's Mill we spotted a new business out of the way in the bottom of the building and, drawn in by the window display, we went in to Stitch Society.  It was a find.  Unusually, they make quality workwear such as aprons and smocks, but they also run stitchery workshops.  I would have loved one of their smocks but they were rather pricey.

We then wandered through the great halls of Salt's Mill in search of birthday presents and an artboard for Angela, then enjoyed lunch in the diner, celeriac and hazelnut soup a first!

The wind was blowing ominously up through the Victorian stairwells as we headed down and out, then in to our faces all the way along the canal bank.  It was a good long walk despite being hailed and rained on.

As I type, Tony has told me it is snowing outside, could be interesting at Parkrun again in the morning.
